Why a chat converts better than a link list
By The Yerba Team
Every link in bio tool eventually ships the same thing: a tidier list of buttons. We took a different bet. Here is the thinking behind it.
The problem with lists
A list of links is a menu with no waiter. It asks a stranger to figure out, in three seconds, which of your eight buttons is the one for them. Most won't. They bounce, and you never learn why.
A conversation does the sorting
When a fan can just say what they want, the page can answer. Yerba reads the room: a first-time visitor gets an intro, a returning one gets pointed straight to the new thing. The link surfaces once someone is actually interested, which is exactly when it converts.
It also catches the questions a list never could. When are you posting next? Do you take requests? Where do I get the good stuff? Those get answered in your voice, instantly.
What we measure
We track the boring, honest numbers: views, chats started, and links opened. The pattern is consistent. A conversation that answers a real question turns far more visitors into clicks than a static page ever did.
